DVB-S2/RCS  WSN Security  Satellite Security  Wireless Sensor Networks  ZigBee 

The aim of this Technical Note (TN) is to provide an overview of the potential role of the satellite in future wireless sensor networks (WSN). TN includes a study of possible architectures for the interworking between WSNs and satellite, addressing the relevant issues in terms of both performance and security. The main achievement is the identification of three satellite-WSN meaningful scenarios, which will be the baseline for activities of Task 2.1
