VISITO Tuscany (VIsual Support to Interactive TOurism in Tuscany) is a research project which investigates techniques for producing an interactive guide, accessible via smartphone, for tourists visiting cities of art. The system applies image analysis and content recognition techniques to recognize photographed monuments.
