Image Understanding Ontologies
In this paper, we describe an ontology-driven approach to image understanding. The main necessary kinds of ontologies are introduced and an algorithm ontology for image understanding is presented. To illustrate the validity of the approach, a case study on cell image analysis is discussed, introducing the corresponding domain ontologies.
