The design and implementation of the service has provided the development of a network of sensor nodes for monitoring one or more environments, including the recognition of the people presence within the environment. Development has provided: The development and implementation of a dedicated Middleware to support the whole service; Design, installation and activation of a sensor network; Sampling of data from environmental sensors; Development of a specific Web Application for software setup and control operations.
