The post-SI auditory NIOO component of the CNV complex was analyzed using parameters having the physical dimension of a speed. Both the time and the space properties of the bioelectrical signal were taken into account. These parameters were derived from maximum and minimum values of the first- and second-order time and space derivatives. Some of them presented a significant shift in their mean values when a young group was compared with a presenile group of normal subjects.
