Condensed Matter Physics Atomic and Molecular Physics IR thermography and Optics Electronic Porosity CFRP Optical and Magnetic Materials
The paper is devoted to the identification of porosity anomalous levels on composite structures by thermography. The thermal properties mapping of local diffusivity is used for this purpose. Experimental results obtained in different experimental conditions are reported. These results are compared with findings given by Ultrasounds. In particular, enhancement of the defect identification by means of 2D Wavelet transform is presented.
